About the February Freeze 5K - Pigeon Forge
The course runs along the RiverWalk in Pigeon Forge, past the Winterfest holiday lights that line the route. It starts at the Island and follows the river path, so the surroundings are festive in a literal sense: the lights are part of the scenery, not decoration on a finish line. An evening start means you run in the dark, which makes the lights the whole show.
Registration and bib pickup happen the evening before at the Margaritaville Hotel, with race-morning pickup also available at the same location. The hotel is the gathering point before the start. Refreshments are out after the finish, and awards go to the top finishers overall and across age groups.
