About the City of Pigeon Forge Winterfest 5K
The course runs along a paved riverwalk beside the Little Pigeon River, flat the whole way through. The route is part of a lights trail that the city puts on in winter, so the surroundings are dressed up even on race morning. It starts from Patriot Park, which sits right in the middle of town.
The race benefits the local high school foundation, so there is a community purpose behind it. Beyond that, details on packet pickup and parking have not been announced yet, which makes sense given how new this event is.
