About the Scoogië's New Year's Eve Glow Run 5K, 2 Mile Jog/Walk & Kid's Ball Drop Dash
The route follows the Lower Gwynedd Township Treweryn Trail system, a mostly flat, paved path through township greenspace. It is untimed, which sets the tone: people run, walk, cartwheel, or whatever gets them to the finish. The course ends inside the university stadium, where runners do a lap around the track before crossing a glowing finish line arch.
The after-party is in the stadium and starts the moment you finish. Well Crafted Beer Company has a tent for adults, and kids get a root beer. There is also a best-dressed costume contest, so glow gear and wild outfits are very much encouraged. Packet pickup details go out by email in the week or two before race day.
