About the Fayetteville Half Marathon
The course starts at The Gardens on campus and winds through some of the more distinctive parts of Fayetteville. It is not a certified course, so treat any personal records loosely. Strollers are welcome as long as they line up toward the back. Several distance options mean you will see a range of paces on the road.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Town Center downtown, with a shorter morning window at the start. Parking is spread across several lots near Walker Park, and the closer ones fill up, so arriving early helps. Awards are announced over a PA system once results clear a brief protest window after each distance wraps up.
