About the Fall Classic 5K
The course runs along Mass Ave through downtown Cambridge, staying flat the whole way. It is road racing without much drama, and the route brings you back to where you started without any real climbing or technical sections. The surroundings are urban and familiar if you know the area, and the pace of the course rewards anyone who came to run hard.
The post-race party is the draw after you finish. Cambridge Brewing Company provides drinks, so there is something to look forward to beyond catching your breath. The event sells out, so earlier registration tends to cost less than waiting until race week.
