About the Faith in Motion 5k Run/Walk & 1 Mile Fun Run
The course runs along the Ohio River Greenway Trail, starting and finishing at the New Albany Amphitheater. It is a road race on a paved trail beside the river, out and back in shape, which means you can see other runners coming toward you on the return leg. A couple of hydration stations are spaced along the way. The surroundings are open and flat, with the river nearby.
Packet pickup and race-day registration happen on the morning of the race, in the window before the start. There are light snacks and conversation at the finish. Strollers are welcome on the course, though runners have the right of way.

The Faith in Motion 5k Run/Walk & 1 Mile Fun Run has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
