About the Eltuck Valley 5K - Lory Summer Trail Series

The course runs through Lory State Park, starting at a picnic area near Fort Collins. Depending on which race in the series you pick, you get either a flat valley route or something with real climbing into the hills. The trail surface is typical of the park, so expect dirt and natural terrain underfoot.

Bibs are available at the start area from early evening before each race. Parking fills at the picnic area first, then spills over to a nearby road with a short walk in. After finishing, there is pizza and beer on site, with the local running club and a Fort Collins brewery both pitching in.
