About the Ella's Race
Ella's Race is a memorial run held in Raleigh to honor a young girl who lost her life to a rare and aggressive childhood brain cancer. The proceeds go toward pediatric brain cancer research, so the morning carries real weight alongside the running.
Chick-fil-A hosts the event, and breakfast is out for participants after they finish. There is also a family activity area on site, so people tend to stick around after crossing the line rather than heading straight to their cars.
