About the Eastwood Baptist 5k
The course starts and finishes in the football parking lot at Haughton High School, looping through the streets on the west side of campus. It is flat throughout, with no meaningful elevation change, so legs feel fresh the whole way. The route passes through a quiet residential grid of streets before an out-and-back stretch brings you back to where you started.
Packet pickup runs on each of the two evenings before the race at Eastwood Baptist Church, with a race-morning window as a backup. There are refreshments at the finish, and cash prizes go to the top overall finishers among men and women.
