About the 2nd Annual Dyamond Fitness and Connie Dwyer Foundation: Breast Cancer 5k and Walk
The course crosses a bridge, with a water station on the other side that runners and walkers both pass through. Dogs and strollers are welcome on the shorter walk but not on the main course, which gives the two routes a noticeably different feel. The race benefits a foundation that funds breast-health services for underserved women.
Packet pickup is the day before at Dyamond Fitness on South Livingston Ave., with email-based alternatives if that window does not work. After the race, the group moves to McCloone's Boathouse for food and drinks, and non-runners are welcome there too.
