About the DSABV 5K "Run With a Little Extra"
This race has a small twist built into the distance: runners can tack on an optional extra stretch beyond the standard course, a nod to the extra chromosome that gives the race its name. It is put on by a local Down syndrome advocacy group, and that purpose is present in the atmosphere. The route starts and finishes at their office on the east side of Bryan.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at the DSABV office, the same location as the start. If you cannot make the advance pickup, there is a check-in table on race morning before the start.
