About the Drug Demand Reduction 5K
The course runs on roads through a residential area of Fairview Park, starting and finishing at the Young Marines Drill Center. It is a flat road course with a separate shorter walk option. The race supports the Greater Cleveland Young Marines and their anti-drug outreach work in the area.
Packet pickup happens race morning at the Drill Center before the start. After the race, there is a Trunk or Treat celebration with decorated trunks, candy, and participation from local businesses and families. Post-race refreshments are also on hand.
