About the Double Trouble - 5K & 10K
The course runs on named trails around Lake Grapevine, so there are lake views throughout. It is a trail race, which means rooted and uneven ground in places, not pavement. Runners can enter the shorter distance, the longer one, or take on both back to back, with the starts staggered so that is a real option and not just a suggestion.
The race is the signature fall event for a local running club, and it doubles as a fundraiser that keeps the club running. That tends to draw a crowd with some history with the event, which gives the finish area a familiar, unhurried feel.

The Double Trouble - 5K & 10K has been held every year since at least 2000. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
