The course runs through TPC Sawgrass, a golf course that most people only ever see on television. The route is flat with cart-path crossings and open fairways, and the surroundings are manicured and quiet in a way that makes the race feel a little surreal. The crowd leans heavily toward people who have a personal connection to the cause.
Packet pickup runs across several days before the race at a handful of local running store locations, so you have plenty of flexibility to grab your bib early. Race-morning pickup is also available at the start area for those who prefer it.
