About the FSM RUN WITH A MISSION (5K/10K)
The course runs through neighborhood streets and paved greenway trails in Nocatee, starting and finishing near a water park. The route is on road and trail surfaces, and the longer distance covers the same loop twice, so you pass the finish area before you are done. The surroundings are suburban but open, with the trails giving it a slightly different feel from a pure road race.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a local spot in Jacksonville Beach, with race-morning pickup and registration available as well. After the race, there is a family festival with food and games near the finish, which tends to keep people around for a while.
