About the Don't Panic 2K
The course is a loop around a large mixed-use property near the Running Elements store, where the race starts and finishes. Sidewalks carry you the whole way, including up and over a pedestrian bridge ramp. You can walk it, run it, or do as many laps as you feel like, and there is no clock running against you.
Food and drinks are inside the store, and a shoe demo expo runs out front through midday so you can try something from the store's current lineup mid-lap if you want. The whole morning has the feel of a hangout that happens to involve running.
