About the Dollin' it Up with Dolly!
This is a beer relay race built around Dolly Parton, and the costume is as much the point as the running. Teams wind through the festival grounds and tackle the Elmwood Hill switchbacks, each member downing a beer before their lap and tagging the next person in. Speed earns bragging rights, but the prizes go to the team that goes hardest on rhinestones, fringe, big hair, and country glam.
Check-in happens in a tight window before the race, and you must bring a valid ID to get your wristband at the ID tent. There is no day-of registration, so teams need to be set up and confirmed ahead of time. Each team needs at least a few members to take the line.
