About the DINO DASH
The runs take place on roads around The Market Place in Tustin, a large shopping center off the freeway. The shorter fun run is untimed and open to anyone; the longer distances are chip-timed with age division awards. The race also runs alongside a bike tour and a student cross country event, so the morning has a lot going on at once.
Packet pickup is at the Dick's Sporting Goods inside The Market Place on the days just before the event. Race-morning registration is available near the start area, though supplies of extras run short. Parking is free throughout the shopping center, and the expo, food court, and entertainment all run through mid-morning after the last wave finishes.
