About the 13th Annual Turkey Trot OC 5K
This is a Thanksgiving morning race in Tustin, organized around a charity that works to end homelessness. The course is a standard road distance, and the field tends to mix serious runners with people out for the holiday tradition. Age division awards go deep into the categories, so competitive runners have something to chase even in a holiday setting.
Packet pickup happens the two evenings before the race at the charity's main address, with race-morning pickup available as a backup for those who miss it. Pre-race refreshments are out before the gun, and an expo and awards ceremony follow immediately after.
