About the Devils Chase 6.66 & Creepy Clown 3.33

The longer course winds through Salem's historic streets past landmarks like the Witch Museum, Derby Wharf, and the House of Seven Gables. The route has a couple of out-and-back sections, so you see other runners coming and going, which matters here because nearly everyone is in costume. Devil horns and pitchforks are the dominant look. The finish runs through a manufactured fog.

Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at a fitness facility on Leavitt Street, with race-morning pickup available at the start. After finishing, there is beer from Bent Water Brewing, mimosas, and homemade pumpkin bread. A nearby bar offers a discount to anyone showing a race bib.
