About the 2026 Delaware Distance Classic 15K
The course runs along the Wilmington Riverfront, passing the DuPont Environmental Education Center and the boardwalk before heading back. It is mostly flat road racing, certified and fast enough that it draws USATF championship and Grand Prix competitors alongside everyday runners. Prize money brings out serious fields, so expect a wide spread of paces from the front to the back.
Packet pickup the day before is at a local running store in Greenville. Race-morning pickup opens at the start line before the gun goes off. The Riverfront location means parking details are mapped out separately by the organizers, so it is worth pulling up their directions ahead of time.

The 2026 Delaware Distance Classic 15K has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
