About the December Ice Scraper 5K
The course runs through Lehigh Parkway, and the name tells you everything about the conditions to expect. Fog, snow, and rain are all fair game; if the path freezes over, the route shifts to the main roads instead. There are no awards here, just the satisfaction of having gone out when most people stayed home.
The race starts at the LVRR Clubhouse in Lehigh Parkway, with check-in opening well before the gun. Because the course is open to traffic, headphones, strollers, and dogs are not allowed on the route.
