About the Davis Turkey Trot
The course winds through Davis residential neighborhoods and greenbelts, starting on a downtown side street and finishing on B Street. It has the feel of a neighborhood run rather than a big-city race, with tree-lined stretches and a route that keeps things approachable for the whole range of distances on offer.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Veterans Memorial Center, near the high school and county library. Race-morning pickup opens early at Civic Center Park. Parking at the high school and walking down B Street is the suggested approach, and post-race there is an expo with refreshments and vendor samples at the finish area.
