About the Davis Labor Day Run
The courses split between two parts of town. The longer distances head south through residential Davis, while the one-mile stays downtown near Central Park, where the start and finish are set up. The race benefits a nonprofit focused on cancer recovery through exercise, which gives the morning a particular texture beyond the usual holiday run.
Bib pickup is race morning only, starting well before the first wave goes off, right near the start line. Parking is available throughout downtown, and since it falls on a holiday, the usual hourly limits are not enforced.
