Avalon, NJ
This race in Avalon honors a school guidance counselor who worked at the local schools for many years. The event draws people who knew her and people who simply want to be part of something that means something. You will see runners and walkers together, and the pace is beside the point. Proceeds go to a local charity that supports families in the area.
