About the Cypress Cove Labor Day 5k
The course winds through a nudist resort property outside Kissimmee, so the setting is unlike most road races. The grounds include a lake, pools, a restaurant, and a sports bar, and the route passes through all of it. Clothing is optional, which the race makes clear upfront, and the atmosphere is genuinely relaxed in a way that has nothing to do with pace.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race, which moves things along considerably on race morning. The post-race party is poolside, with music, awards, and food and drink specials at the resort's bar and restaurant.
