About the CVR New Year's Eve 5K
This is a New Year's Eve road race through downtown Montpelier, starting on Langdon Street. The route is a standard out-and-back shape with a short spur that adds a little variety. It runs in the afternoon, which means full daylight but also full winter, so dress accordingly. Expect cold pavement and potentially icy patches.
Bib pickup is at Onion River Outdoors at City Center on Main Street, wrapping up before the start. After the race, awards and refreshments are held at City Center. Parking is on-street or in public lots nearby, including one directly across from the pickup location.
