About the Crystal Lake Team Marathon
The course circles Crystal Lake, starting and finishing at the east end of the lake with the start and finish just a short stretch apart. It is a marathon distance run on open roads around the water, and you can enter as an individual or as part of a relay team. The lake is the constant backdrop, and the route is straightforward to follow.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at the beach on the east end of the lake, which is also the start area. Restrooms are at the start. Water is available from volunteers posted around the lake at informal tables. Teams drive themselves between the relay exchange zones.
