About the Crosswinds Run Series

The course starts with a steep downhill through the city, then turns onto West Lake Road for a climb that runners apparently talk about enough that the organizers named it outright. After that, the route finishes across rolling terrain at Ferris Hills. There are distance options for adults and a short kids course run entirely within the event grounds.

The race raises money for a local nonprofit that supports students in need, covering basics that families sometimes cannot afford. That charitable focus is central to how the event presents itself, and most of the post-race energy reflects it.
