About the 18th Annual Crossroads Trail Run
The course runs through Crossroads at Big Creek Nature Preserve, a nature preserve outside of Sturgeon Bay. The trails wind through natural habitat, and several distance options mean the preserve gets a variety of runners out on the same morning. Proceeds from the race support the preserve's environmental education work, which gives the event a clear local purpose.
Packet pickup runs across several days before the race, including a morning window on race day itself, all at the Collins Learning Center, which also serves as the race hub. Parking is available there, with overflow space across the street. At the finish, there are post-race snacks including a cherry sundae made with locally sourced cherries.
