About the Covered Bridge 5K
The race runs through Tyler State Park and is built around one notable hill, known among regulars as Covered Bridge Hill. It is not a flat cruise; that climb is the point of the course, and the park setting gives the whole thing a wintry, wooded feel that suits the season.
This race is the opening event of a weekly winter series that runs through the colder months. You do not need a club membership to enter as a single-race participant, and race-day registration on site is an option for non-members who decide at the last minute.
