About the Cousin Eddie's
Cousin Eddie's is held at Cloverdale Road Park, a neighborhood park in Montgomery. The course is a holiday-themed run where costumes are a genuine part of the event. Runners show up in Christmas Vacation inspired gear, and costume awards go alongside the usual age group hardware, so the field looks nothing like a typical winter morning race.
Costume judging gives the post-race area something to linger over, and the competition for best dressed can be as spirited as the race itself. Age group awards run deep, so there is real racing mixed in with the pageantry.
