About the Courir de Coteau-High School Cross Country Meet
The course runs through a campus that has been standing for well over a century, and the terrain reflects that history. Runners move across gravel paths, through open meadows, past horse pastures, and under a canopy of oak trees. There is also a stretch through what the organizers describe as sacred grounds, which gives this cross-country meet a setting unlike most others in the region.
The meet is hosted by Academy of Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau, and timing is handled by a dedicated local service. Both middle school and high school runners compete, with each group running a separate race on the same course.
