About the Copper Collar 5K

The Copper Collar 5K runs through downtown Panama City on road, with a flat course that moves through the historic core of the city. The race was originally created by Navy divers, and the name comes from the copper helmets they wore. That thread of military diving history runs through the whole morning.

Post-race, the Man in the Sea Museum opens its exhibits, so there is something to walk through once you are done running. Music and refreshments round out the finish area.
