About the Conquer the Overlook 5K Run
The course is built around Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, a state park that sits above the surrounding neighborhoods. The climb is the whole point: runners gain real elevation on the way up, with views of the city spreading out below. It is not a flat loop through a park. You earn the top, and the payoff is the panorama.
Packet pickup happens the afternoon before the race at the park itself, so you can familiarize yourself with the start area before race morning. Registration closes at the end of that pickup window with no exceptions.
