About the Color Bowl 5K
The course runs loops around a lakefront area, which means the color stations hit you more than once as you go around. It is an outdoor course with water views, and the whole point is the color, so expect to finish looking different than you started.
Packet pickup and race-day registration both happen at a local fitness center nearby, with pickup running through the late morning before the midday start. The timing makes it a later-than-usual start, which is a nice change from early-morning alarm clocks.
