About the Color Blast Fun Run
The course at Sippel Reservoir Park starts on a limestone path beside the soccer fields, crosses a boardwalk and a bridge over a creek, then climbs a paved hill onto a crushed limestone trail before turning back. Color stations are spaced throughout, so you get hit with powder repeatedly, not just once. The surface mixes pavement, limestone, and some gravel.
Pickup for wristbands happens at the park shelter before the run starts, with parking available on-site and at a nearby plaza. Food and drinks are for sale after. The powder is non-toxic and environmentally safe, but bring a change of clothes and a bandana if you are sensitive to dust. A color-powder dance party follows the run.
