About the Coastal Half Marathon, 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The course runs through backcountry trails inside Gulf State Park, mixing paved paths with a stretch of traffic-free park road and a section along the Gulf-front highway. It is trail terrain in feel but not rugged underfoot, and the surroundings are coastal the whole way.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a drive-through, with a second window on race morning. After the race, a buffet from a local restaurant sets up at the finish, and there is beer on hand for those who want it.
