About the Coastal Delaware Running Festival
The courses run through a stretch of the Delaware coast that packs in a lot: the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, paths through Delaware State Parks, and a pass through historic Lewes. The terrain is flat throughout, which makes it a course where you can actually race rather than manage your footing. Several distance options spread across the weekend.
The finish brings a real celebration, with beer, food, and live music on hand. The race benefits the Delaware Seashore Preservation Foundation and a handful of other local charities, so the post-race crowd tends to have some purpose behind it.
