About the Coal Mine Trail Run
The course starts at a park in Cle Elum, climbs toward the historic coal-mining town of Roslyn, and winds through an urban forest before dropping back down to the finish. The terrain is moderately hilly, with the bulk of the climbing front-loaded and a long descent to close things out. Surrounding trails carry the character of the region's mining past.
Dogs are not permitted on the course, so leave them home. There are snacks waiting at the finish area after you come through.
