About the Clinton 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

The course runs along Riverside Drive beside the Clinch River, staying flat the whole way. It turns toward Riverbend Road and comes back, so the surroundings are open and the river is with you for most of the run. The start and finish are near Lakefront Park, which gives the morning a little breathing room.

Packet pickup happens on several evenings earlier in the week at Clinton Elementary School, with race-morning pickup available at the start area for anyone who misses those. Dogs and headphones are both discouraged on the course.
