The course starts in the parking lot of a high school, snakes through it, then turns out onto a boulevard and follows it to a turnaround point before returning to the start. It is a road race with a genuine out-and-back shape, and the organizer does not oversell the difficulty: the course earns its name. Registration and pickup open early on race morning, right at the start area.
