About the Cleveland Metroparks Race for the Cake 5K
The course runs through Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, and the dress code is wedding attire. Brides, grooms, and anyone who wants to show up in formal wear are all welcome. The animals are the backdrop, and the route winds past zoo exhibits before finishing with music and a treat-tasting spread.
Race-day registration and packet pickup both happen at the zoo on the evening of the race, before the start. Spectators need to buy tickets in advance through the zoo's website; the box office is closed that night, and zoo membership does not cover entry.
