The course runs through the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, so you are passing animal exhibits and zoo grounds rather than roads or park trails. Costumes are encouraged, and the crowd skews toward families there to watch. Spectators do need a separate ticket to enter the zoo, so worth passing that along to anyone coming to cheer.

Packet pickup opens before the race starts, with registration handled on-site the morning of. After finishing, there are refreshments at the zoo, and your entry includes time in the zoo itself once the race is done. Dogs are not permitted on the course or grounds.
