About the Cleveland Heights Happy 5k & 10k
The course runs through a pair of merchant districts in Cleveland Heights, so there are storefronts and small businesses lining much of the route. The organizers describe it as flat and fast, and crowd support along the way is part of the draw. Leashed dogs and strollers are welcome along the course, and there is a costume contest if you want to make a morning of it.
Free parking is available in several lots near the start. Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a local wine shop, with race-morning pickup also available for those who prefer it.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Cleveland Heights Happy 5k & 10k has been held every year since at least 2021. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
