About the Christopher Walden Hilltop 5K

The course runs up and down the ski slopes and short wooded trails at Hilltop Ski Area, and it does not pretend to be gentle. The elevation change is significant enough that most people mix running and hiking depending on the pitch. The views from the top of the ski area are genuinely worth the climb.

Packet pickup is the evening before the race at Skinny Raven, a running store on H Street in Anchorage. A virtual option is also available for anyone who wants to run the distance on their own time and in their own place.
