About the Christmas in the Park

Christmas in the Park runs through Deming Park, so the surroundings are trees and open park land rather than streets. There are separate distance options for adults and youth, and walker awards are taken seriously here. The organizers ask that anyone signed up as a walker actually walk the full course, because the walker competition draws people who train for it.

Packet pickup is on race morning inside the Torner Center, which sits within the park itself, so you are already close to the start when you collect your bib.
