About the Christmas 5K/10K/Half Marathon in July - Chattanooga
The course runs along the Tennessee River on a paved trail, starting and finishing at a shelter in the river park. It is flat the whole way, with out-and-back routes for the shorter distances and a double loop for the half marathon. Summer heat is the real challenge here, not terrain, so personal hydration is worth thinking about.
Packet pickup opens on race morning, about an hour before the start, right at the venue. The start and finish are in the same spot, which makes it easy to drop gear and not worry about logistics.
