About the Chilly Willy 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Phoenix
The course runs mostly flat with just enough variation to keep it honest. It is not hilly, but it is not pancake-flat either, and the terrain moves along quickly regardless of which distance you choose. Self-serve water stations are spaced out along the route, so if you plan to push the pace, carrying your own hydration is worth considering.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local sports bar and grill, which doubles as a decent excuse to meet other runners the night before. Race-morning check-in opens an hour before the start for anyone who skips the early option.
