About the Chase the Dreidel 5K

The course runs through city streets and along the Pinellas Trail, so the surface changes underfoot as you go. A life-sized dreidel leads the field, which gives the whole thing an unusual character for a road race. There is a short fun run for younger kids alongside the main event, and free off-street parking at the start.

The post-race spread is the centerpiece of the afternoon: an all-you-can-eat potato latke supper is included with entry. Packet pickup and start details follow a late-afternoon schedule, so this is an evening outing as much as a race.
